Welcome to Dog Bar Sarasota, where the spirit of St. Pete’s original off-leash Dog Bar meets the timeless charm of Sarasota’s historic Ice House. Watch your dog play while you enjoy your favorite beverage and a slice of wood-fired pizza! Located in the Rosemary District of Sarasota, this unique spot blends a private dog park with a full-liquor restaurant.

Our concept is centered on dogs—but you’re always welcome to come solo! Whether you need a serotonin boost, want to catch up on work with our free Wi-Fi, or just cheer on one of our legendary costume contests, humans enter free. Dogs need to register for a $7 day pass or one of our membership packages to access over 6,500 sq ft of indoor and outdoor off-leash fun.

Step through our double-entry safety gates into our thoughtfully designed play zones. Rain or shine, our 1,500 sq ft climate-controlled indoor yard keeps pups and people comfortable even on the hottest or stormiest days. Outside, our main turf yard features a bone-shaped splash pool and plenty of room to romp. 

While your pup explores, treat yourself to wood-fired pizzas from Bone Appétit, house-made “paw-tizers” for dogs, and a rotating lineup of draft beers, frozen drinks and handcrafted cocktails inspired by Florida’s bounty. Our bartenders are some of the friendliest in town—ready with a smile and often calling out your dog’s name before yours.

Safety and community sit at the heart of Dog Bar Sarasota. Every member dog must be non-aggressive, fixed after one year of age and show proof of recent shot records. Our trained Wooferees monitor play behavior during peak hours so you can sip in peace. Whether you’re stopping by for a rainy-day romp or joining one of our Spritz & Sprocket socials, rescue brunches or sunset wine tastings, you’ll find a warm welcome, happy wagging tails and a neighborhood gathering place unlike any other.
